Step 1: Get Your Exact VSCO Link
Before you can put it on Instagram, you need to copy your specific VSCO profile URL. Don't guess it! If you type it wrong, your followers will get an error page.
- Open the VSCO app on your phone.
- Tap the Smiley Face icon in the bottom right corner to go to your profile.
- Tap on the Share Icon (an arrow or a box with an arrow pointing up) near your profile picture or username.
- Select "Copy Profile Link". It should look something like
vsco.co/yourusername.
Step 2: Add it to Your Instagram Profile
Now that your link is copied to your clipboard, it's time to learn exactly "how to add vsco link to instagram bio".
- Open the Instagram app.
- Go to your profile and tap "Edit Profile".
- Look for the section that says "Links" and tap on it. (Do not paste it into the "Bio" text box, or it won't be clickable!)
- Tap on "Add external link".
- Tap the URL box and press Paste to drop in the VSCO link you copied earlier.
- In the Title box, you can type "My VSCO" or "Presets" (this is optional).
- Hit the blue checkmark or "Done" in the top right to save.
Why use the Links section?
In past years, people would literally type "vsco.co/name" inside their bio text. Instagram removed the ability to click regular bio text to fight spam. You absolutely must use the dedicated "Links" button to make the text blue and clickable!
How to Get More People to Click Your VSCO
If you just leave a raw link sitting there, people might ignore it. If you want people to actually look at your photos, place an arrow emoji at the very end of your written bio pointing straight down at the link.
